Fencing
Solar Systems
Solar fence chargers let you run electric fence where there is no mains power and nobody nearby to swap batteries. Pipestone Farm Supply lists Patriot's all-in-one solar energizers: the compact PS5 (rated by Patriot at 0.04 joules), the SG500 (0.5 joules, up to 30 miles of fence or 100 acres) and the SG1000 (1.0 joule with a 9.6 W panel, up to 40 miles or 140 acres), plus Tru-Test 10 W, 20 W and 30 W solar panels and a panel regulator for keeping a 12 V battery energizer topped up. Replacement SolarGuard 50 and 155 gel-cell batteries, the PS15 facia and solar panel, the PS15/SolarGuard 155 module, solar fence leads and a complete case kit keep older units running. Every product page shows the manufacturer's joule, distance and acreage rating, and our energizer sizing guide explains how to read them.
