About PFS

Albertans helping Albertans.

Pipestone Farm Supply was founded in Millet, Alberta — where Pipestone Creek runs through — to serve the farmers who are the backbone of this province. Built by Liam Jevne and Carter Olson, two Albertans who saw a better way to get the right products to the right barns, and felt compelled to build it.

Why Pipestone?

Pipestone Creek runs through Millet, Alberta — about 40 minutes south of Edmonton — and the two of us grew up beside it. Walking the banks looking for arrowheads as kids. Fishing the deeper bends. Watching our neighbours' cattle drink from it in the summer. When we sat down to name the store, we didn't sit there long. Naming it after the creek that shaped this part of the prairies felt like the only choice.

The pipestone itself — soft red rock — was used by the Plains Cree to carve ceremonial pipes. The creek takes its name from that history. We don't pretend to own the story, but we live in it. And we think the name belongs on a store built by people from this land.

The farmers in this province are the backbone of Alberta.

It's not a slogan. It's true. The cattle ranchers, the grain producers, the hog and poultry operations, the family farms running 40 head in the back forty — they're the people who feed this country and keep the small towns of Alberta alive. Without them there is no Alberta the way we know it.

And what they get back from the supply chain is broken. Big-box stores an hour away that "don't carry that anymore." Amazon listings that ship from the US in three weeks. Boutique sites with five products and zero idea what a hundred-head cattle operation actually needs. Nobody is serving Alberta farmers the way Alberta farmers deserve to be served.

We saw it, and we felt compelled to fix it. Not because there's a quick buck in it. Because somebody needed to.

What we built.

Pipestone Farm Supply carries 1,800+ products from the brands actual Alberta ranchers use — Cattle Boss, Patriot, Tuff Stuff, Tru-Test, Strictly Equine, Catchmaster, Y-Tex. Real Canadian wholesale prices. Real product photos. Real specs. We ship across Canada from Millet, Alberta via Stallion Express — usually 2-5 business days. And every email that comes in lands with one of the two of us. No call centre. No ticket queue.

That's it. That's the model. Albertans helping Albertans. We're not trying to be the next Amazon. We're trying to be the farm-supply store this province has needed for a decade.

What we believe.

Five things we won't compromise on.

01

Albertans helping Albertans.

We're 100% Albertan-owned and operated. No outside investors. No head office in another country. The people running this store live in the same province as the farmers it serves.

02

The backbone deserves better.

Farmers feed this country. They deserve a supply chain that respects their time, their margins, and their work. We exist because the current options don't.

03

Real photos, real specs, real prices.

What you see is what arrives. No stock photos. No bait-and-switch pricing. No surprise duties at the border because we shipped your order from a US warehouse.

04

The brands ranchers actually use.

We stock the brands you see in real Alberta barns — not the brands with the biggest ad budgets. Cattle Boss before generic. Patriot before knock-off. Tru-Test before guessing.

05

You email us, we answer.

Two co-founders run this store. There is no support queue. There is no ticket system. We read every message.
