Panel, battery, electronics and mounting are integrated, so there is no separate panel to wire, no battery box to build, and nothing extra sitting out on a remote fence line waiting to walk away. It is light enough that one person can carry it to the far corner of a lease and hang it on a post. That combination is what a lot of western Canadian grazing actually needs. Community pasture, a rented quarter, bush pasture with no service within miles. A unit like this puts a proper fence out there instead of a token one.
