Tanks and Troughs
Pipestone Farm Supply lists fifteen tanks, troughs and waterer parts for the corral, pasture and horse pen. The Tuff Stuff oval tank line runs from 15, 18, 30, 40 and 50 gallon sizes for a few head or a horse paddock up to the plug-fitted 85, 110, 140, 160 and 180 gallon tanks for a herd; there is also a 64 gallon round tank, a 75 gallon square tank with plug, and a 3/4 in brass tank drain and plug for replacing a worn fitting. Tuff Stuff tanks are moulded plastic rather than galvanized steel, so they do not rust; for keeping one open through an Alberta winter, see the stock tank heaters page and check the de-icer's label for plastic-tank approval. For pens with a pressurized line, the Millside automatic waterer keeps a bowl full without a hose, and the Millside screw-on cap handle fits its top-fill fountains. To match a tank to how much your animals drink, see our guide What Size Stock Tank Do You Need? Tank Sizes vs Daily Water Use. Orders ship Canada-wide from Millet, Alberta, or pick up in store.
