Details
Draining a big tank with no plug means tipping 280 litres somewhere you did not intend to put it, or bailing it out a pail at a time. This one leaves the factory with a drain plug installed, and that single detail changes how often a tank actually gets cleaned. Pull the plug, let it run out, brush it, refill. It holds 75 gallons, about 284 L, and measures roughly 117 cm long by 79 cm wide by 41 cm high (46 by 31 by 16 inches) on the outside. The material is 100% recycled low-density polyethylene: flexible, non-porous, rust-free and forgiving of the ice that forms in anything left out over a Prairie winter. The rectangular footprint is what makes it usable in a pen corner or tight along a wall where a round tub wastes half the space it occupies. Site it level so it drains right down to the plug, and if it will not be in use through a hard freeze, leave the plug out over winter rather than letting a partial fill work at the walls.
