On a steel post fence, the insulator is the only thing you can actually see from a distance. The wire disappears against grass and the post is a grey stripe. That is the argument for yellow: it draws the eye to the line and to the height the conductor is running at. Twenty-five per pack, SKU 820018. The body wraps around the T-post rather than clipping only to the front face, which is what stops the insulator sliding when stock lean on the fence, and the pin lets the conductor lift straight out of the slot. It suits fence wire, polybraid and polyrope. Where yellow earns its place is on cross fences and temporary divisions inside a larger field, where somebody has to find the wire in a hurry and where a rider or a quad is crossing regularly. Fit them all at one height, and put the pins in a pocket rather than the grass when you drop a section. Everything about a pinlock system depends on still having the pins next spring.
