The usual failure on a clip-on T-post insulator is that it works its way loose. Stock rub the fence, the wind loads the wire, and eventually a row of insulators has slid down the post or come off entirely and the top wire is lying in the grass. The wrap design changes the grip. The body extends around the T-post rather than just hooking the front face, which resists that sliding and twisting, and the pinlock still lets the conductor come out without removing the insulator. It takes fence wire, polybraid and polyrope, and the shield is sized to cut arcing between conductor and post. Twenty-five per pack in UV-stabilised black, SKU 820017. The arcing point matters more on steel posts than people expect. A T-post is a well-earthed vertical rod driven a foot into damp ground, and a conductor sitting close to it on a wet morning will leak to it. Longer path, more voltage left on the fence. Snap them on before you run the wire, spacing them off a marked stick so the run comes out level. Black keeps a permanent fence looking clean, and the yellow version covers the lines that need to be seen.
