Polirope is what you run when you want the fence to be seen. At 6mm it presents a solid visual line a horse picks up from a distance, and that is half the job with horses, because a fence that gets noticed rarely gets tested. Six stainless steel conductors are woven through the rope, so there is plenty of carrying capacity even if a strand eventually breaks somewhere along the run. Rope handles cold better than most people expect, and it does not sing and whip in the wind the way wide tape does. That matters through a Chinook, or anywhere a fence sits on an exposed hilltop taking wind all winter.
