Details
Three joules of output from 4.6 stored joules, and a Patriot rating of up to 65 miles or 260 acres. This is a serious energizer, meant for a large operation running long boundaries, multiple branches, and enough wire that a smaller unit would be reading low at the far end before you had finished building. It runs on 110 volt household power or a 12 volt battery, adaptor and battery leads included, and it is solar compatible. Low impedance, LED indicator, three-year warranty from Patriot including lightning damage. Two things to get right if you are buying at this size. First, the ground system. An energizer this strong can only deliver what the earth side lets it return, and in dry or deeply frozen prairie soil that means a proper array of rods, well spaced and clamped rather than wrapped. Second, lightning protection. You have a lot of wire strung across open country feeding back into one expensive box, and an arrestor on the line is cheap insurance. Rated mileage assumes clean wire and good joints; vegetation on the line will cost you range.
