This is the kit for the garden, not the pasture. Everything needed to put a light electric fence around a vegetable patch, a flower bed, a young orchard or a yard, in one box, ready to set up without a trip back to town for the piece you forgot. It comes with a 110 volt PE2 energizer, ten fence posts at 28.5 inches with four preset clips already moulded in so you can set wire height without measuring, 100 feet of green poliwire, a ground rod, fence connectors, instructions and a storage box for the off season. The preset clips are the detail that makes it quick: pick your heights, clip the wire, done. It runs off a household outlet, which suits a garden near the house. If the spot you want to protect is out of reach of a cord, Patriot notes the PE2 can be swapped for a solar unit or a PE5B or PE10B battery energizer, bought separately. Aimed at deer, rabbits, raccoons and dogs rather than livestock, and it packs back into the box when the season is over.
