Patriot backside t-post extender - 5" (Black)
A t-post insulator that carries a hot wire 5 inches off the back side of the post, for putting an offset wire on the far side of an existing fence.
Details
The back side extender does the same job as a front-side offset, just facing the other way. It mounts on a standard t-post and holds a hot wire 5 inches off the back of the post, the side away from the fence face, which is what you need when the animals you are holding are on the opposite side from where the existing fence hardware sits. That comes up more often than you would think. A fence line with pasture on both sides, a shared fence where the neighbour's cattle are the problem, or a line where the t-posts were driven with the studs facing the wrong way for the paddock you are now using. Rather than pulling and re-driving posts, you offset off the back. It wraps on by hand with no tools and takes poliwire, polytape, aluminum or steel wire, so it suits a permanent line or a temporary one. Black keeps the hardware unobtrusive along the fence. Set it at nose height for the class of stock you are holding and the wire will do the rest.
