These are the light posts from the Patriot pet and garden range - 28-1/2 inches tall, green so they disappear into a lawn or a garden row, with four preset clips moulded into each post. The clips are the point: you push the post in, snap the wire into the clip height you want, and the fence is up. No insulators to buy, no measuring. The job they do is keeping a dog in the yard, keeping deer, rabbits and the neighbour's dog out of a vegetable garden, or fencing off a flower bed or a young shelterbelt. Four clip positions let you set a low wire for rabbits and a higher one for deer and dogs on the same post. This is not livestock hardware. They will not hold up to a cow or a horse leaning on them, and they are not tall enough for stock fencing. Used for what they are meant for, they go in and come out easily, which matters when the garden gets tilled in spring and fenced again in June. Five per pack.
