Hauling season is hard on a horse's routine. Different water, different hay, a few days of stall confinement, then back home to the regular ration. Owners who notice their horses eating and passing manure differently through that stretch often keep a pail of this on hand. Inside is a dry powder built from digestive enzymes, probiotic cultures, with Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium longum named on the label, and microbial fermentation products. The maker positions it as a full-spectrum digestive supplement and lists travel, training, feed changes, competition and environmental stress as the situations it is meant for. The 907 g pail is the smaller of the two sizes. It suits one or two horses, or a trial run before committing to the big pail, and it fits in a tack trunk without taking over. Mix the powder into grain or a wet mash. Because the probiotic cultures are live, keep it out of heat and away from damp: lid closed, dry scoop, and a cool corner of the feed room rather than a shelf in the sun.
