Terminals take abuse the rest of an energizer never sees. They get lead-out wire wound onto them and pulled off again, they sit in weather, and on a big unit they pass a great deal of energy every second, so a cracked knob or a corroded post costs output long before anything else fails. This kit is the terminal service part for the Speedrite 36000RS. That unit stores 54 joules and delivers 36 joules of output, a mains-only machine at the top of the range, rated by the manufacturer at 360 km of fence or 200 hectares (500 acres) under ideal conditions and supplied with a three-in-one remote. It has since been discontinued, which is exactly why keeping the terminals serviceable matters. Confirm the model before ordering. The terminal hardware on the smaller Speedrite units is a different kit, and the mid-range unigizers use another one again. While the terminals are off, clean the lead-out ends properly. A bright, tight connection at both the fence and the earth terminal is worth more on a fence this size than anything else you can do in ten minutes.
