Speedrite 1/2" extreme tape 1320'
Half-inch white poly tape with six tinned copper strands, 1,320 feet on the roll, for long temporary fence runs that need real power.
Details
Extreme Tape is Speedrite's high-conductivity poly tape. Six tinned copper strands are woven through the 12 mm tape, which Speedrite rates at 106 times more conductive than standard politape. That conductivity is what lets you push voltage a long way down a temporary line instead of watching it bleed off a few hundred feet from the energizer. The 1,320 foot roll suits big strip grazing setups, cross fences across a quarter section, and any run where you would otherwise be splicing two rolls of ordinary tape together. Tape reads well to horses and cattle at a distance, and the white with red weave stays visible against snow, stubble and grey November light. The weave is heavy and tightly wound, and it is UV stabilised so it does not go brittle after a couple of prairie summers. Run it off a geared reel and tension it by hand. Tape is not high tensile wire and should not be cranked tight, since it needs some give to move with wind and temperature. Use tape-specific insulators and buckles at ends and corners so the copper strands are not crushed, and join with proper buckles rather than knots to keep the conductor path intact.
