Details
This is the mains plug pack for Patriot P5, P10, P20 and P30 energizers. Those units take 110-volt house power through an external adaptor, and the adaptor is usually the first thing to go. It lives outside the energizer case, gets pulled on, chewed on, and cycled through wet, freezing and thawing weather. If your Patriot has quit and the fence has gone dead, check the adaptor before you condemn the energizer. A unit that shows nothing on mains but fires normally off a 12-volt battery has an adaptor problem, not a main board problem. Swapping it is a few minutes' work with no tools. Worth keeping a spare on the shelf if your energizer sits in an unheated shed, a pump house or a corral shelter. Losing power in January with cattle behind a single hot wire is not the time to start ordering parts. Check the model stamped on your energizer and confirm it against the adaptor before you order, since Patriot uses different adaptors across its range.
