Speedrite switch cover assembly (1000, 2000, 3000)
The replacement switch cover assembly for the Speedrite 1000, 2000 and 3000 energizers, sold as a service part.
Details
Energizer cases live outside their whole working life, or close to it: on a shed wall, in a pump house, under a solar panel in a field. The switch area is the part that gets handled, and the part that eventually cracks, seizes or lets moisture into somewhere it should not be. This is the switch cover assembly for the Speedrite 1000, 2000 and 3000, which share a housing across the three models. Those units store 1.4, 2.7 and 4.5 joules and release 1, 2 and 3 joules of output respectively, and all three will run from 110 volt mains or a 12 volt battery. Replacing a damaged cover is worth doing rather than taping over. Water sitting inside an energizer case is how a repairable fault becomes a replacement unit, and on a mains-connected box it is a safety question as well as a reliability one. Have the model number in front of you when you order. The 6000 and 6000i take a different assembly and the two are not interchangeable.
