Speedrite screws - case
Individual replacement case screws for Speedrite energizers, sold singly for when one goes missing during a repair.

Energizer case screws end up in the grass, in the shop vac, or stripped by an impatient screwdriver. These are sold singly, so replacing one does not mean buying a pack you will never finish. It is worth caring about. A case with a screw missing does not clamp its seal evenly, and an energizer that does not seal properly will draw damp air in every time the temperature drops. Over a couple of seasons in an unheated building that shows up as corrosion inside, and corrosion inside is what turns a repairable unit into scrap. When you reassemble a case, run all the screws in finger-tight first and then snug them in a cross pattern rather than doing them up one at a time. Plastic housings distort if you tighten one corner fully before the others, and a distorted case will not seal no matter how many screws are in it. Confirm the screw type against your unit if you are working on an older energizer, since case hardware has changed across production runs.
