Speedrite 12000i switch cover assembly

This is the switch cover assembly for the Speedrite 12000i unigizer. It is the piece that covers and seals the control switches on the front of the unit. Its job is to keep water, dust and insects out of the switchgear while still letting you work the controls. Covers get broken. A unit gets knocked off a post, something falls on it in the shop, or the plastic finally gives up after enough years of ultraviolet and forty-degree temperature swings. Once the cover is cracked or missing, moisture gets into the switch area, and in this climate that means condensation freezing and thawing right where you least want it. Corroded switch contacts are a harder and more expensive problem than a broken cover. If yours is cracked, replace it rather than taping it up. Confirm the part against your energizer model and serial number before ordering — Speedrite uses different cover assemblies across the unigizer range, and the 12000i part will not fit its neighbours in the lineup.
