Details
Cattle rarely arrive all at once. A yard fills over weeks, sometimes over months, and the loads that came in early behave differently from the ones that came in late. Marking those groups apart at the time of arrival is the only way to keep the comparison honest later. Peach is well suited to that because it is close enough to orange to sit in the same family and far enough from it to be told apart at a glance. Run true orange for one arrival window and peach for the next, and a pen sheet is no longer the only way to know which cattle came off which truck. Days on feed, implant timing and pull rates all become easier to attribute. The run is printed sequentially from 1 to 1000, so processing goes straight from box to ear. One-piece design in the compact Z Tags feedlot size, self-piercing cutting tip, applied with the Z Tags one-piece applicator, with the number legible from front or back. They serve as management and visual ID only and are not a substitute for an approved CCIA tag.
