Details
These are Z Tags 1-piece calf blanks in pink, 25 to a pack. It is also a good choice for a group you want to keep separate at weaning. The tags are blank Z1 one-piece calf tags, 25 to a package. Write them with a livestock tag marker so the numbers match your book, and get them done ahead of calving rather than at the chute. Blank tags give you room for a dam number as well as a calf number if you keep records that way. The one-piece design means no rivet, no back button and nothing protruding behind the ear to catch on wire or brush. The self-piercing tip makes a small incision that heals in snug around the tag stem, and the applicator pin pivots so the ear is not held flat while you squeeze. These are management and visual identification tags, not approved traceability tags.
