Details
In a large pen the difference between a tag you can read from the alley and one you have to walk in for is the difference between a ten minute job and an hour. Chartreuse is the loudest colour in the range, and a printed number on that background is about as far-reading as an ear tag gets. That is worth real money in a backgrounding lot or a big grazing operation where somebody is checking cattle daily. Riding a pen and calling out numbers from the fence line, spotting a specific animal in a bunched group, or picking a tag out of tall grass on a summer pasture all get easier when the background colour is doing half the work for you. Supplied as a complete sequence from 1 to 1000, factory printed, so there is no writing and no fading handwriting to argue about in a year. One-piece design with the self-piercing cutting tip, applied with the Z Tags one-piece applicator, in the compact feedlot size. These handle management and visual ID. They do not replace an approved CCIA tag.
