Details
Fifty green blanks is a top-up size. If green is already the colour on a pen and you have to re-tag a few head partway through the feeding period, this is the bag that keeps that pen consistent without committing to another full numbered run. Green sits well in a winter yard. Against snow and against the general grey and brown of a January pen it separates without being harsh, and it does not get read as a warning colour the way red does when someone glances down the alley. The tags are blank, which is what you want for replacements, since the number has to match the record rather than follow the next one on a strip. These are the feedlot pattern, lighter and shorter than the mature cow tags and intended for identification over a feeding period. One-piece construction, self-piercing point, one squeeze of the applicator and no button to load behind the ear. These are management and visual identification tags. They are not a substitute for an approved CCIA tag.
