Details
The pin is the part of a one-piece tagger that wears out. It takes the load every time the applicator closes, and a pin that has gone dull or bent stops making a clean hole. That shows up as tags seating crooked, tags that take two tries, and ears that bleed more than they should. Changing it is a two-minute job and it is far better done on a quiet afternoon than in the middle of a processing day with a full alley behind you. Most people keep a spare in the shop and another in the tagger itself, since the No-Snag tagger carries one in the handle. This is the replacement pin for the one-piece applicator, the tool used with the Z1 no-snag style tags. It is not the same part as the two-piece universal tagger pin, so check which tool you are holding before you order.
