Details
Red is the colour most people give to the animals with a note against them. A ewe that needed help lambing, a doe with a bad udder, anything already on the cull list. Put a red tag in and the decision is visible the next time they come through, instead of buried in a notebook in the truck. These are the small animal size, compact enough to sit properly in a light ear. Red holds contrast against white wool and against black and brown hair goats, and it stays obvious in a crowded pen where you are looking down at backs and heads rather than side-on. Fifty blank tags per bag. The one-piece construction has the piercing tip on the point of the tag, so it seats with one squeeze of the applicator and there is nothing to load. No button also means nothing on the back of the ear to catch when animals crowd a feeder. These are management and visual identification tags. They are not a substitute for an approved traceability tag.
