Pink earns its place on small stock as a sex marker. Ewe lambs in pink, ram lambs in something else, and the sort is effectively done at tagging rather than in the fall when everything is the same size and moving. Goat operations use it the same way for doelings. These are the small animal size, a compact flag suited to a light ear rather than a scaled-down cow tag. Fifty to a bag and blank, so the numbering follows whatever system you already run, whether that is sequential, by year, or matched to the dam. The one-piece design does not use a button. The piercing tip is the point of the tag itself, so it makes its own hole as the applicator closes and nothing sits on the back of the ear. On sheep and goats pushing through feeders and headlocks, that is worth having. These are management and visual identification tags. They are not a substitute for an approved traceability tag.
