Details
Purple is worth having when cattle mix. On community pasture or a leased quarter with a shared fenceline, an uncommon tag colour settles the argument before it starts. Yours are the purple ones, and the rider gathering in the fall does not have to squint at numbers to sort them out. This is the mature cow size, the same large flag used across the one-piece cow range, and it ships blank so the numbering is yours. The one-piece construction is the practical part. The point is the piercing tip, so the tag makes its own hole as the applicator closes, and there is no separate button to align, drop, or lose in the straw. Nothing sits on the back of the ear afterward to catch on wire. These are management and visual identification tags. They are not a substitute for an approved CCIA tag.
