Tru-Test MP600 load bar plates

A portable scale is only as accurate as whatever it is standing on. Set MP600 bars on soft ground, thawing dirt or a yard chewed up by hooves, and the feet sink at different rates through the session. That shows up as drift and as readings that will not settle. These plates give the bars something solid underneath. They are hot-dip galvanized steel, pre-drilled to match the MP600 rubber feet, and supplied with the hardware to fasten the bars down. Because the bars are fixed to the plates rather than resting loose on them, the setup keeps its geometry when it gets bumped or when an animal loads one end first. They earn their place at temporary sites: a summer pasture, a rented corral, a set of portable panels put up for the day. Anywhere a concrete pad already exists the plates are optional. Anywhere it does not, they are the difference between weighing and estimating. Level the ground under each plate before setting the bars down, and check across the pair with a level rather than by eye. Both bars carrying evenly is what the indicator assumes, and a shim under one corner at setup saves arguing with the numbers all afternoon.
