Tru-Test HD1010 load cell & assembly
A heavy duty Tru-Test load bar assembly rated at 3000 kg (6600 lb) per pair, built to be bolted permanently beneath a manual squeeze chute.
Details
A chute that gets used hard is no place for a portable load bar. Cattle hit the sides, the frame flexes, and side loading finishes off bars that were designed to sit under a platform. The HD1010 assembly is built for the abuse that comes with a permanent chute installation. Each bar runs about 1010 mm (roughly 39 in) long inside a galvanized steel housing, with TPR and PVC cabling that stands up to being underfoot and a foot design shaped to absorb the side loads a chute puts into it. A pair carries 3000 kg (6600 lb), which covers mature cattle with room left over. This is a permanent fitting. The bars anchor to a level concrete slab and the chute mounts on top, either directly where the chute is scale ready, or through the HD1010 bracket set where it is not. Once installed, they will run with any Tru-Test weigh scale indicator. Take time over the slab. Bars sitting on ground that is out of level, or that settles unevenly over a season, will read badly no matter how good the indicator is, and correcting it afterwards is far more work than getting the concrete right the first time.
