A hydraulic chute is heavy before an animal ever walks into it. Add a bull to the tare weight of the chute itself and load bars sized for a platform are working near their limit every single time. HD5T bars are the answer to that arithmetic. They carry 5000 kg (11,000 lb) across the pair and measure 1115 mm (43 in) long, 75 mm (3 in) wide and 110 mm (4.3 in) tall, in sealed galvanized construction with heavy TPR and PVC cables and 5 m (16 ft) of lead to reach an indicator mounted where the operator stands. Base resolution with a Tru-Test indicator is 0.5 kg (1.1 lb). That resolution is worth pausing on. High capacity always costs you fineness, so if the job is weighing calves rather than mature cows, a smaller bar will give a tighter reading. Choose HD5T when the load is truly heavy: manual or hydraulic squeeze chutes, big frames, and high daily throughput. Installation is permanent. The bars bolt to the chute and to a level concrete surface, with a bracket set available where a chute has no factory mounting points. They read on any Tru-Test weigh scale indicator once wired in.
