Speedrite stake for AN90 energizer
The ground stake made for the Speedrite AN90 energizer, giving the unit somewhere solid to sit out in the paddock.
Details
This is the mounting stake for the AN90, so the energizer can be set out where the fence is instead of hanging off a post that may not be in the right place. Drive the stake, mount the unit, and the whole outfit stands on its own. For portable and temporary setups that is exactly what you want. Strip grazing, a bale grazing paddock out in the stubble, a rented quarter with no infrastructure. Being able to put the energizer down in the middle of the block, next to its ground rods, keeps the lead-out short and the whole system simpler. Site it where you can find it and where it will not be hit by machinery. Get the stake in deep enough that a cow rubbing on the energizer does not lay the whole thing over, and remember the stake is a mount, not a ground rod. The unit still needs a proper earth system driven separately into the dampest ground available. In frozen conditions you will want a bar and a pilot hole to get the stake in at all.
