The 36000RS is a large mains energizer, and when one fails the question is always whether to repair or replace. On a unit of this size the main module is the part that makes repair worthwhile. It carries the control and drive electronics, and fitting a new one brings a unit back to working order for a fraction of a new energizer. Failures on big units usually trace back to lightning, a surge on the mains, or a fence fault that ran the unit hard for a long time.
