The Speedrite 86000W is the top of the range — 86 joules maximum output from 128 joules stored, rated to power up to 540 miles or 6,200 acres of fence. It runs on 110-volt mains and comes with a remote control and fault finder. This is not an acreage energizer. It is built for operations running fence across many sections: large ranches, community pastures, or a central energizer feeding an entire network of permanent and temporary line. At this size the energizer is rarely the limiting factor; the fence and the ground system are. Get the installation right or the capacity is wasted. That means a substantial ground bed with plenty of rod spaced properly, heavy insulated underground cable for the lead out rather than fence wire, and proper lightning protection — with hundreds of miles of wire connected, a strike anywhere on the system comes home to the energizer. Cut-out switches let you isolate sections for fault finding instead of chasing a short across the whole network. And always test voltage at the far end of the furthest run; a strong reading at the terminals tells you nothing about what is happening at the gate on the back quarter.
