Speedrite 6000 main module
Replacement main module for the Speedrite 6000 unigizer, the internal electronics and front cover assembly for that unit.
Details
This is the main module for the Speedrite 6000 unigizer — the electronics package and front cover that carry the indicator lights and controls. Speedrite designs the unigizer range so this section can be swapped rather than replacing the whole energizer, which is worth a lot when the nearest service depot is a long haul away. Energizer modules generally fail for predictable reasons. A lightning strike travelling back down the fence line is the big one in open prairie country, where a mile of wire makes an effective antenna. Mains surges do it too, and so does water getting in through a cracked case or a broken switch cover. The symptom is usually no output at all while the power supply itself tests fine. Check the model and serial plate on your unit before ordering. The 6000 and the 6000i take different modules, as do the 12000i and 18000i, and they do not interchange. If the failure followed a storm, fix the cause before fitting the new part — check your ground system and consider lightning diverters, or you will be buying another module after the next front comes through.
