The Speedrite 46000W is a mains energizer with 46 joules maximum output energy from 68 joules stored, rated to power up to 290 miles or 3,300 acres of fence. This is a large-operation unit — big grazing systems, community pastures, a whole ranch fed off one box in a central yard. It uses Speedrite's Cyclic Wave and bi-polar technology, has a voltage display and indicator lights, and includes a load response feature so the unit reacts to what is actually happening on the line. The remote is included. It is also Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capable and works with the Datamars Pro App, which means you can see fence condition without driving out to the energizer — genuinely useful when the far end of your system is twenty minutes away in a snowstorm. An energizer this size demands a ground system to match. Undersized grounding is the single most common reason a big unit underperforms, and dry summer soil and deep frost both make it worse. Put in a proper ground bed, use heavy underground cable rather than fence wire for the lead out, and fit lightning protection — a 46 joule unit fed by miles of wire is a large target for a strike coming back down the line. Test voltage at the far end of the system, not at the terminals.
