Details
A three-hole mounting post gives you a fixed, tidy place to hang reels at the end of a temporary fence run. It is sturdy galvanised steel, takes three reels, and comes with an anchor chain to hold it steady in the ground. If you are strip grazing or running multiple hot wires off a reel setup, this is the difference between a workable system and a tangle. Three reels on one post means three strands wound and unwound from the same place, so you can move a fence line without laying reels in the mud or hanging them off a gate. It also keeps the reels off the ground, which matters in wet spring conditions and when snow is still lying in the low spots. Set it where you want the fence to pivot from — usually a lane end or a permanent corner. Galvanising is worth having here; a bare steel post at ground level in country that alternates between snowmelt, standing water and dry summer will rust out fast. Reels are sold separately.
