The VS range is not really a gun so much as a handle you build around. The handle is reusable and holds a dose chamber, a needle guard assembly and, if you want it, an ink stamp. That means the tool follows changes in protocol instead of being replaced every time the dose changes. This is the tube-fed kit with a 25 mm (1 in) lockable needle guard. Dose chambers are available in 0.5, 1, 2 and 5 mL and are ordered separately, so check which chamber is fitted before you match it to a job. Being tube fed, the bottle sits away from the handpiece in a holster or on a rail, which keeps the weight in your hand constant no matter how full the bottle is. The two-stage trigger is designed to keep the gun balanced through a long run. The needle guard is a mechanism, not a cover, and it wants to be kept clean to keep locking properly, so flush it with the rest of the gun and let it dry apart rather than assembled. Inlet and outlet valves come as a service kit when the refill slows down. Those are rebuild parts, not consumables, and should be needed rarely.
