A VS handle set up for tube feeding will not take a bottle without the right front end, and this is that front end: the bottle-mount assembly with its shroud, sized for a 20 mL bottle. It is what you order when you want to move a handle you already own from a tube-fed configuration to a bottle-mount one, or when a shroud has been cracked against a gate. Fitment matters more here than anything else. This assembly is for the VS injector range and nothing else. It will not fit the Premium, Compact, Optimiser or Sekurus bodies, which use their own bottle collars and shrouds. It is also sized for a 20 mL bottle specifically, so check the bottle you intend to run before ordering rather than after. Treat it as a rebuild part rather than a consumable. A shroud should last as long as the handle unless it takes a knock, and the assembly is not something to replace on a schedule the way an O-ring or a needle is. Fit it with the gun clean and dry, then check the bottle seats squarely and the whole assembly is tight before the first animal.
