Ortho Home Defense Max Perimeter & Indoor Insect Control is a ready-to-use insecticide from Scotts Canada Ltd., registered in Canada under the Pest Control Products Act as PCP Registration No. 27521. The registered label gives the guarantee as permethrin 0.25% and covers container sizes of 250 mL to 1 L; this listing is the 1 L ready-to-use bottle. What the label registers it for: "Kills listed pests inside buildings, outdoors on the exterior surfaces of buildings." The indoor pest list on the label covers ants, carpet beetles, clothes moths, cockroaches, crickets, firebrats, fleas (adult and larvae), flour beetles, rice weevils, silverfish, sowbugs, spiders and ticks. Outdoors, the registered pest is ants, on the exterior surfaces of buildings. Directions on the label: "Apply as a crack and crevice or spot treatment only."
