Details
Ortho Ant B Gon Max Ant Eliminator is a ready-to-use ant spray registered in Canada by Scotts Canada Ltd. (Mississauga, Ontario) under the Pest Control Products Act as PCP Registration No. 27201. The registered label gives the guarantee as permethrin 0.25% and states "NET CONTENTS: 250 mL to 1 L"; this listing is the 1 L bottle. What the label registers it for: "Kills ants inside buildings, outdoors on the exterior surfaces of buildings." This registration is for ants specifically - the Ant & Roach Killer Spray (PCP 33725) and the Home Defense Max products carry their own, wider pest lists. Directions on the label: "Apply as a crack and crevice or spot treatment only." It is not a broadcast or whole-floor spray. The label sets its own re-treatment intervals: indoors "after 7 days if pest problem persists", outdoors "after 14 days if pest problem persists". Read the label in full before you spray. Precautions from the label: "KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN." and "Remove pets and birds and cover fish aquarium before surface applications." Around food it directs: "DO NOT apply to surfaces that may come into contact with food/feed." Storage and disposal: "Store product in original container in a safe place. Keep from freezing." and "Do not reuse empty container. Wrap in several layers of newspaper and discard in trash." Where to buy Ortho Ant B Gon Max in Alberta: Pipestone Farm Supply lists the 1 L ready-to-use ant eliminator at our store in Millet, Alberta - between Leduc and Wetaskiwin, south of Edmonton - with free in-store pickup and Canada-wide shipping. The rest of the Ant B Gon Max range is listed here too, including the 500 g outdoor granules, the ant killer foam, the ant and roach killer gel and spray, the ant eliminator liquid, and the ant traps in 3-packs and 10-packs. Pesticides are regulated by Health Canada; read and follow the label before every use. For how the seven Ant B Gon Max labels we list compare, see our guide Which Ortho Ant B Gon Max Do You Need?
