A repeating syringe is what turns a long processing day into a manageable one. The barrel refills itself from the bottle between animals, the dose is set once on the adjuster and stays there, and you are not stopping to draw up every shot by hand. Over a hundred head that adds up to real time. This is the metal-bodied version, which is the one that survives being dropped on frozen ground and knocked against a chute rail. Fifty cc suits products given at higher volumes. Set the dose against a marked container before you start rather than trusting the numbers cold, and check it again partway through the run. Rinse it with hot water right after use. Do not leave product sitting in it overnight, and do not put anything through it that the label says not to. Follow the manufacturer instructions for cleaning and lubrication, treat the seals and o-rings as wear parts, and store it dry and taken apart. Which products go through it, at what dose and by what route, is a matter for the label and your veterinarian.
