Thirty-five millilitres is a big barrel. It is for jobs on mature cattle where the volume is genuinely large and stopping to refill a smaller syringe would slow the run or mean handling an animal twice. It is also a two-hand tool: nobody controls a full 35 one-handed on a moving cow. The luer lock tip matters more the bigger the barrel gets. There is a lot of force behind a full plunger, and a slip tip under that kind of back pressure is how a needle ends up on the ground and the contents end up on your coat. Threading it on removes the question. Clear polypropylene barrel with large graduations, latex free, sterile, single use, tamper-evident packaging. Big syringes reward a settled animal. Get her caught and squeezed properly before you start, and expect to work slower in the cold when thicker fluid and a stiff plunger fight you.
