Details
This is the most flexible needle in the range, and flexible is not what you want in a needle. An inch and a half of 20 gauge exists for a narrow job: getting depth on smaller stock without putting a wide hole in them. It is also the size most likely to bow the moment it meets resistance, which is exactly the case for having it in a detectable build. The D3 uses a thick-wall cannula and a precision-ground tip to resist breaking, and any fragment is designed to be picked up by x-ray or magnetic detection at line speed. The brass hub carries the gauge stamped into the metal, and the packaging is red with ISO colour-coded, tamper-evident seals. Disposable, 100 per box. Treat this one gently. Have the animal properly held before you start, keep the entry square, and throw away anything that has taken even a slight set rather than straightening it. Change needles often, use a sharps container, and count what you used against what you binned. Route, site and dose come off the label or from your veterinarian.
