Does mouse poison or bait work?

The short answer

Yes, bait works. It usually takes several days, and it works best alongside sealing up and cleaning up, as Health Canada advises. Follow the label every time. Pipestone Farm Supply carries the options below.

We keep this on hand, so it's ready to go. In-stock orders can ship as soon as the same day, and depending on where you are, your parcel can arrive in as little as 1 to 2 business days once it's on the road. Shipping is free on orders over $199.99 to most addresses.

Do bait stations work?

Yes, as long as they sit where mice are already active. A station keeps bait dry and clean, gives mice a covered place to feed, and makes it easy to see whether they are eating. Place stations along walls and travel routes, and check them often at first.

How long do I need to keep mouse bait out?

Each label sets its own time, from about a week up to 15 days or more for mice. Tomcat Disposable says at least 7 days, and Tomcat Refillable says 15 days or until signs of mice stop.
