The Tomcat Mouse Killer Refillable Bait Station is a lockable, reusable mouse bait station sold with eight 28 g bait blocks (224 g of bait in the pack). It is registered with Health Canada as a domestic-class rodenticide, PCP Registration No. 31500, registrant Scotts Canada Ltd. The active ingredient on the label is diphacinone 0.005%, an anticoagulant rodenticide. What the label says it is for: "Use bait to control House mouse (Mus musculus) indoors and outdoors within 15 metres of buildings." How the label says to use it: "Wearing gloves, place one block of bait in the bait station." "Place the bait station at highest point of activity beside burrow, along a wall or in corner where mice or their signs have been seen." "If additional units are needed, place bait stations at 2.5 to 3.5 metre intervals." "Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for 15 days or until signs of mouse activity cease." Precautions from the label: "Bait MUST be placed in tamper-resistant bait stations." "KEEP STORED BAIT BLOCKS OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN" "DO NOT place bait in areas where there is a possibility of contaminating food or surfaces that come in direct contact with food." "Wearing gloves, collect and dispose of unconsumed bait and dead exposed rodents according to local requirements". The label describes the unit as a "Child & dog resistant bait station."
