Havoc-XT Blok Rodent control blocks brodifacoum 0.005% (Pail of 40x20g)
Pail of forty 20 g brodifacoum blocks — single-feed bait for a small yard or a targeted problem building.
Details
Forty 20 g bait blocks containing brodifacoum at 0.005%. Brodifacoum is the most potent of the commonly available anticoagulants: a rodent can take a lethal dose in one feeding, which is why it gets reached for when a population has been surviving on something milder. The 20 g block size suits mice as readily as rats and runs onto a rod inside a station. The forty-block pail is the size for one barn, a shop, or a single problem building rather than a whole yard program. Buying the quantity you will actually place within a season is better practice than having a large pail of potent bait sitting in a shed for years. Read the label. Brodifacoum is restricted in Canada in how and where it can be used, and the label tells you the registered sites, the tamper-resistant station requirement and the placement spacing. Those are legal conditions of use. Take the secondary poisoning risk seriously with this one in particular. Brodifacoum persists in the liver of a poisoned rodent for a long time, so an owl, a hawk, a fox or a barn cat that eats a dying mouse gets a meaningful dose — and a cat that eats several over a week can accumulate one. Collect dead rodents every day. Use locked, anchored, tamper-resistant stations without exception. If a dog or cat eats bait or a poisoned rodent, call your veterinarian immediately and bring the label. Vitamin K1 is the treatment, it works, and it works far better started before the animal is bleeding. Do not wait to see what happens.
