What works best for flies in a barn?

Does Starbar fly bait work?

University of Kentucky Extension says bait stations with fly bait kill house flies, and work best with few competing food sources nearby. Its advice is to clean barns and corrals about weekly so flies have less to breed in. Starbar Premium Fly Bait contains methomyl plus a fly attractant, and is registered in Canada for agricultural buildings, feedlots and dog kennels. It is not for use inside or around homes, and animals must not be able to reach it.

What can I spray in a barn for flies?

Where should I hang fly traps around a barn or yard?

Rescue suggests about 6 metres from home entrances, patios and decks. Good spots are back fences, dog runs, garbage bins, compost piles, and poultry or livestock areas. Replace a trap when it is full, which can be every couple of weeks in hot weather. These are outdoor use only.
