Tuff Stuff bale twine cutter
A pocket-sized twine cutter with the blade set into a plastic body - cuts baler twine cleanly without an open knife in your hand.
Details
A twine cutter is one of those items nobody buys until they've cut themselves reaching into a bale with a jackknife. This one is small, about six and a half inches long, with a hooked cutting slot and the blade set down inside a plastic body rather than left exposed. You hook it under the twine and pull. The twine parts, your gloves and the bale don't, and there's no open blade swinging around in a pen full of animals. It's also easier to use with mitts on than a folding knife, which matters when you're feeding at minus thirty and would rather not take a hand out of a glove. Small enough to live in a coat pocket, a chore-truck door, or on a nail by the hay. Most people who use one end up buying two or three, because they get set down on a bale and fed to the cows.
