Tomcat Mouse Snap Traps 2-Pack

Details

Tomcat Mouse Snap Traps are reusable snap traps for mice, sold in Canada by Scotts Canada under the Tomcat brand (item 0365510). This listing is the 2-pack. Tomcat describes them as "Easy to use and set and also reusable". They are mechanical traps, not a pesticide, so they carry no PCP registration number. Where to set them, per Tomcat: "Place trap where rodents frequently travel, usually between 10 - 30 feet from nest to their food source." Tomcat's list of common locations is along walls and baseboards, behind appliances and furniture, in dark corners and hidden spaces, and near food storage areas, and it adds: "Remember to place traps perpendicular to the wall, with the baited end facing the wall, as mice tend to travel along edges." Cautions, from Tomcat: "Keep traps out of reach of children and pets." "Be cautious when setting the trap to avoid injury to your fingers." "Always wear gloves when handling traps and disposing of rodents." For mice in a stored RV, camper or trailer, see our guide How to Keep Mice Out of an RV, Camper or Trailer Over Winter: What the Labels Allow, which also quotes Alberta's public-health advice on cleaning up droppings safely. For how many traps to set, where to put them and how often to check them, see our guide Mouse and Rat Traps in Canada: Snap, Wood, Glue or Live-Catch? For barns and shops, see Fall Mouse Control for Barns, Shops and Outbuildings in Alberta. Where to buy: Pipestone Farm Supply lists the Tomcat Mouse Snap Traps 2-pack in Millet, Alberta (between Leduc and Wetaskiwin, south of Edmonton), with Canada-wide shipping and free in-store pickup.
