If you are updating a Medi-Dart syringe rather than repairing one, this is the package that gets the most of the way there in a single order. It carries the #6 needle, the valve parts that go with it, and the plastic wingnut the newer design depends on. The #6 is the roughest ridge in the Medi-Dart range, and on these needles the number refers to the ridge alone. A rougher ridge holds harder while the pressurised barrel empties, which is what you want on mature cattle at distance. Paired with the wingnut, the needle is pushed clear of the animal as the ejector goes ahead, so the syringe drops free for retrieval instead of hanging. The one part that is not in the box and that the #6 actually needs is the half-moon push rod. If your dart still has the plain rod fitted, add one. It is the single most common fitment mistake with this needle and it will leave you thinking the assembly is at fault when it is not. Wingnut sizing follows the cattle: 13 mm (1/2 in) for cows and bulls, 9.5 mm (3/8 in) for younger cattle up to yearlings. All of it is reusable hardware. As always, what you are administering and whether it is appropriate is a question for your veterinarian and the product label.
